AKIA SWING wheeled motor drive kit for stress-free low enclosures with 3 or 4 modules.
AKIA SWING’s wheeled swimming pool enclosure motor drive kit is suitable for low and light swimming pool enclosures which can be easily moved by hand with no special effort.
It consists of two twin modules and one 10w solar panel. Each module features 1 motor and 1 wheel. The control unit and batteries are positioned on one of the modules.

With the AKIA Bi-Twin wheeled swimming pool enclosure motor drive kit, you can automate swimming pool enclosures or structures (such as decks) which are heavy and/or difficult to move by hand.
The kit consists of two twin modules and one 30w solar panel. Each module features 2 motors and 2 wheels and is equipped with its own control unit and batteries. The radio receiver is positioned on one of the modules and simultaneously controls both modules.

Benefits of the AKIA System safety system
AKIA System’s safety system has two major benefits :
- The motor drive is exclusively controlled by the sole holders of the start-up key.
- Energy consumption is neutralised and the batteries are kept fully charged by maintaining constant solar panel recharge.
Although AKIA System’s swimming pool enclosure motor drives have no locking mechanism, they prevent any manual movement, i.e. any possibility of unwanted opening.
When the enclosure is the legal barrier preventing access to the pool, it must be easy to close when users leave the area. A reliable, always available motor drive guarantees safety and peace of mind for responsible users.
In the event of force majeure or failure, the wheels can be kept in raised position to neutralise their restraint and allow the manual movement of the structure.
Rules in terms of swimming pool enclosure motor drive
By virtue of machinery directives 98/37/EC and 2006/42/EC, a swimming pool enclosure motor drive must be controlled by a limited number of trained individuals authorised to use the machine.
- In “private areas”, the movement of this motor drive can be controlled by radio transmitter with a push button to be held down for the entire duration of the operation, with the continuous presence of the authorised user in close proximity to and within sight of the “machine”.
- In a “public area”, this motor drive must be controlled by a key switch located in close proximity to and within sight of the machine, to be held down by an authorised user for the entire duration of the operation.
These motor drives are prohibited in areas of use by the general public.
One turn of the key is required to activate a time delay which, for 8 to 10 minutes, will start up this motor drive.
Another turn of the key is required to reactivate any possibility of motor drive control.
