AKIA’s sliding gate kits: Menor, Mayor and Bi-Mayor
Our wheeled automation equipment easily fits onto all sliding gates, already in place or to be installed, whether they are made of steel, wood, PVC, aluminium, stainless steel, solid or with bars.
- It is not restricted by the size or weight of the gate insofar as it can be normally operated by hand with no special effort.
- Wheeled motor drive kits are impervious to moisture and operate in all weather conditions, at temperatures ranging from -40° to +60°.
- The cover of the motor module is made of polyester and can be painted in the same colour as the gate. It slips onto the frame and is easily removed.
AKIA’s motor drives have been awarded the certification of conformity which allows the company to affix the CE mark on all swing and sliding gate automation equipment they manufacture. As forerunners and groundbreakers, this automation equipment was already compliant with current European health and safety standards since 1994. You are also covered by our warranties.
AKIA MENOR 24 kit for domestic gate.
The AKIA MENOR 24 kit includes:
- 1 module with 24 volt geared motor, 250N gas strut, thermo-galvanised frame, stainless steel axes and screws, built-in electric lock, rubber wheel, polyester cover and quick fastening plate
- 1 electronic unit with 433 MHZ radio receiver
- 2 x 12 volt – 168 watt batteries
- 2 x 4-function remote controls

AKIA MAYOR Pro/Industrial kit for heavy, long gate, under stress or for collective installation (including safety parts)
The AKIA MAYOR PRO/INDUSTRIAL kit includes :

AKIA BI-MAYOR 2-motor kit for very heavy gate or gate under severe stress
The AKIA BI-MAYOR kit includes :
- 1 module with 2 geared motors 24 volts, two 300N gas struts, thermo-galvanised frame, stainless steel axes and screws, built-in electric lock, 2 rubber wheels, polyester cover and quick fastening plate
- 1 electronic unit with 433 MHZ radio receiver
- 2 x 4-function remote controls
- 2 x 12 volt – 168 watt batteries

Solar option solution on AKIA sliding gate kits
The solar option can be used to power swing and sliding gates when there are difficulties in bringing 230 Volt supply to the posts.
Supplied with the special AKIA PU2M management board and 12V-25W solar panel to be attached to the gate.
