What is a radio receiver in a motor drive?

A radio receiver is the component which receives the gate opening or closing command when you press the remote control.

It transmits this command to a part which can be called :

  • electronic control cabinet
  • electronic control “board” or “unit” or “central” electronic control unit
  • control logic

AKIA-TEC receiver - ref.2009

The AKIA-TEC receiver can be plugged into all AKIA PU2M circuit boards for 24 volt motors : Star, Menor, Mayor and collective.

 

It is directly controlled on our circuit boards by a third function of our remote controls or radio keypads.

FUNCTIONS: Remote control switch, timed remote control switch, pulsed and two-way modes - 7 amp relay contact - 1 to 128 min timer

Single-channel universal auxiliary receiver ref.1001 controls all types of motor drive, e.g. garage door, with our radio transmitters and keypads.

 

FUNCTIONS: Pulsed mode only -12 to 35 v. power supply (DC or AC). Can store up to 14 different radio codes.

433 Mgh tuned antenna for AKIA France System’s wheeled motor drive

Tuned antenna

Antenna tuned to a 433.92 Mgh frequency supplied with a 4.5 m coaxial cable.

 

An antenna set to a limited number of frequencies is a tuned antenna. It optimises the receipt of the commands sent by the transmitters.
